Bar & Guest House

O’Callaghan’s Bar and Guest House was set up in 27/04/1994 by Patrick and Eileen. Over the years the bar and guest house have grown into the place to visit for anglers and other tourists alike. It is centrally located, so offers the tourist an ideal base for exploring this part of County Cork.  For the angler, be they first time, pleasure or match angler, course, game or predator angler, Inniscarra Lake offers all a great day’s fishing.

The accommodation at O’Callaghans has been recently been updated and we are sure you will enjoy your stay in our comfortable rooms.

It offers a traditional Irish welcome to one and all.

Traditional Irish Pub

Experience some real Irish heritage

If there is one word people associate with O’Callaghan’s Bar it’s “traditional”. It’s the type of bar where you can sit by the fire, have a drink and read your book or newspaper, without being disturbed or you can join in the conversation with other patrons – a mix of locals and visitors to the area. Play a game of pool or listen to music on the jukebox.

If you’re staying in the guest rooms you can arrange with your hostess for an evening meal – and enjoy good quality, home-cooked food. Nell’s hotpot is a particular favourite.

Visitors can enjoy a cold pint of Guinness at the end of a day sightseeing or fishing in the area.
